Paul Whintors

The Bulldogs are excited to announce the partnership with Paul and his Facility @complexhockeytraining. Paul grew up in Oshawa Ontario loving the game of hockey indoor and outdoors; finishing his youth hockey playing Jr with his hometown club prior to having the fortune of joining Cornell Big Red NCAA Division 1. Post-university took Paul into the corporate world with General Motor for 20 years of office work and retail experience. Eventually the sport was pulling Paul away from corporate work and the desire to coach and teach young hockey players lead to the creation of Complex Hockey Training Facility - where he can really hone in on the biomechanics of many aspects of skating, shooting, and puck management.

Since 2010, Complex is home to the most sophisticated skating treadmill program on the market and along with his team of certified trainers ensures all players get better and stronger by working beyond their known capabilities of confidence and excellence - which we install in our teachings. Paul's coaching for the past 20 years ranges up to U Sport as an assistant coach with Trinity Western and along the way has had many fortunate groups winning the Provincial Championships. He is a hockey Canada Certified High performance coach & has touched many players that have ultimately made it to the highest possible level to play (NHL) but will never take claim on their achievements, but instead feel fortunate that he was able to impact their lives with skills and knowledge of the game.
